It’s been a while. A delicious track to wrap up the first term of the first year. Busta bangs that shit up.
It’s been a strange week and the only thing that’s been getting me through it has been Jay-Z. This song has an awesome sample from the Chi-Lites and has the definite fingerprints of Kanye West, who was one of the producers.
I was listening to this whole album while I was doing art yesterday. There’s a section in this song when Georgia Anne Muldrow’s vocals mesh in with the beats and it’s absolutely delicious. Art gets a whole slog more funky with a track like this playing behind it.
The Muppets attack rap all over again.
